Subsidiary subjects: Phonetics, translation studies, text analysis and production, society and institutions in contemporary Europe, international organisations/economy, literature and history. Spanish elective levels I and II passed with very high grades.

Prizes: Watt medal for best year performance in fourth year, second-year prize for all-round excellence, first- and second-year prizes awarded by the German consulate for excellence in German.

Interests I play the ‘cello, piano, clarinet and guitar and have passed several music exams in these instruments. For some years now, I have been a member of an Irish dance troupe in Brussels. I am a very keen reader and travel is another of my greatest hobbies.
