 You will be required to work a total of 16 hours and in return you will receive one free festival ticket plus camping in the arena section  Expect to work either the Friday or Saturday night  All shifts are in blocks of 4 hours  All cafe crew will need to attend a meeting prior to opening the gates to the public  Preference will go to cafe crew who can make themselves available for all/most shifts  Please select what you are available to work and not what you want to work I prefer to work 2 x 8 hour shifts I prefer to work 4 x 4 hour shifts

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CAFE CREW NEW FOREST FOLK FESTIVAL 2018

1. You must be at least 18 years of age on 4th July 2018. All staff must present photo ID when checking in at the start of the Festival.

2 2. All crew must report to the festival office and then the café on arrival.

3. You must be willing to work 16 hours between July 4th – July 8th. Shifts per day can either be eight hour shifts or four hour shifts. You may choose any time slots on page 1 of the application form but you must be prepared to work either a Friday or Saturday night. Priority will be given to those who can arrive on Wednesday morning/early afternoon and who will still be available on Sunday evening. Priority will be given to cafe crew who make themselves available the most. In return you will receive one free four day weekend pass and one free arena camping pass.

4. All crew must attend a Health and Safety Induction and a cafe crew meeting on the 4th July at 0930 at the cafe. If you cannot attend then you MUST make us aware when applying.

5. Duties can be at any time from 11am through to 11:30pm. You will be expected to do one day shift and one evening shift of 8 hours. (Please arrive 15 minutes early for the changeover)

6. Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. Late applications will be considered but there is no guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requirements. Please understand that it may not be possible to fully meet your requests for certain days and time slots for duty. Duties are allocated to your preferences where possible but no guarantees.

7. Please make us aware of any disabilities or medical conditions that restrict the duties you can perform so that you can be allocated suitable jobs.

8. Drinking alcohol whilst on duty is not permitted at any time. Whilst on duty you should be free from the various influences of alcohol or any other substances that may affect your performance.

9. On arrival you will be given your cafe crew pack. Rotas will not be available prior to the festival as they will be subject to change. Make sure you contact the cafe frequently during the weekend to keep abreast of any changes.

10. Due to insurance and health and safety considerations, it will not be possible for children to be with you whilst on duty.

11. You will receive one free four day weekend pass and free preferential arena camping which admits you to the car park, camping and arena. Badges or lanyards, if provided, must also be worn while on duty. We need to know in advance if you are bringing a caravan or camper van as space is limited or if you require a space for disabled parking or camping.
