Ancient Egypt Diorama Project

Task: You will create a diorama of an Ancient Egyptian tomb.

Directions: Using your researched data, your textbook, your handouts and notes, follow the steps below to construct a diorama of an Ancient Egyptian tomb. The box you select should be roughly the size of a shoe box, but not much bigger.

1) Inside a shoebox, you must show the following concepts: - hieroglyphs decorating the walls - prized possessions - a sarcophagus or mummiform - canopic jars

*Cover the outside of the box with brown or beige construction paper. *Use craft materials such as construction paper, pipe cleaners, play-doh, Legos, etc for the items inside of your tomb.

2) On the back of the box, you must write at least 1 well-written paragraph about a real or an imaginary (self-created) pharaoh. The biography paragraph must include the following details. - Who they are (name) - What were their accomplishments - When they ruled/How long they ruled - How they became pharaoh - What possessions were included and why

3) On the bottom of the box, write the following: - The heading (name, section, and date)
