1. Opening 1.1 First meeting for 2017 season open and agenda for business tonight includes but not limited to: Auditors report, treasurers report for Jan 17 and Feb 17, Junior Season, Senior Season, Uniforms, Mixed Division, Netball Correspondence. 2. General Meeting Minutes 2.1 Treasurers Reports and Audit Reports Auditor’s official report from last year has been presented by Rachel Hancock and accepted by Renee Carvolth. 2.2 Junior Season 2017 Item No. Discussion Action Member
Discussed that all teams need to have Managers and Coaches sorted and appointed by end of this week as they will not be able to take the courts for official first games of the season without them. Discussed that Junior 2 has now got 5 teams so a bye for each team will occur across the season. Round Robin for junior 2 teams this week 2/3/17 Junior 1 and 2 Teams will have a canteen roster set out before next week games. Volunteers must be minimum of 15 years old to work in the canteen. At least 2 people per team required for each shift. Points from the ladder will be deducted if your team don’t show for the canteen duties.
Uniforms Junior and Senior Junior 1 & 2 Teams must wear skorts or netball skirt with their team shirt provided (no shorts or leggings) Discuss with umpires their Senior teams must have matching shirts as per the colour your put duties for uniforms and on your registration paperwork. Colours must be matching no light piercings. Mixed Division We extended the sign on dates for mixed division until 2/3/2017 as 2.4 they won’t need trial rounds. So far we only have 3 teams unless a forth comes along there won’t be a mixed division for season 1 2017. 2.5 Senior Season 2017 Committee to divide the Amy Wadsworth rd A discussion and vote took place as to whether we split the senior teams after 3 week of Kaylee Ilka season into 2 different divisions A and B or if we play as a whole for trials are completed and the first season of 2017. Vote was place and with 13 votes to then a draw for the splitting the season and only 1 vote to combine. The decision was season will be done. made to split the season into division A and B and then come finals the teams will split into A, B and Social Division for the last 3 rounds. Piercings Discuss with umpires their duties for uniforms and 2.6 No piercings are allowed on the courts, No taping of piercings Kaylee Ilka allowed. Wet Weather Notifications Discussion was had as to the time frame for games to be called in 2.8 case of wet weather and the committee agreed to have the notice done no later than 5:45pm for senior games and the team captain will be messaged in regards to this and also will be advertised on facebook and the Laidley netball app. 6.
