Employer Job Posting User Agreement
Employers and organizations who register with Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College (A-B Tech) Job Board are approved to gain access to post job opportunities. To participate, the organization and recruiters must comply with all Equal Employment Opportunity standards. Employers who post on the Job Board website agree to manage their own contact information and postings through the system. A-B Tech does not guarantee that the college or CSO Interfase server will function error-free or uninterrupted.
A-B Tech’s Career Development Services reserve the right to edit, delete, or refuse any employer account or job/ internship/ co-op posting. These services are available for local area employers in Buncombe, Madison, Haywood, Yancey, McDowell and Henderson counties. Private household requests will not be considered a local employer.
The following job listings will not be posted: Require a job seeker to make a financial investment or pay a fee prior to starting employment Provide job seekers with a financial incentive for recruiting other job seekers
Career Development Services may delay or cancel posting requests with, but not limited to: Questionable job duties Business is located in an employer/employee’s private residence Misrepresentation or absence of information Non–organization specific email address as a contact (i.e., @yahoo or @gmail) Requirement of, at the time of application, personal information such as bank and social security numbers Complaints by students, graduates, faculty, staff, and/or community members Local job duties but employer is out of Job Board service area
