Lesson Overview: Students will use Appleworks computer program to create a hallway in one point linear perspective. They will include: a wall, door or window at the end of the hallway; a hallway intersecting the main hall; a window on a side wall; a checkerboard pattern and a fantasy, dream or surprise (surrealism).

Objectives and Goals: 1. The student will use the appropriate tools in Appleworks Paint Program to create a hallway in one point linear perspective.

2. The student will insert clip art into their hallway painting as it pertains to surrealism.

Approximate Time Required to Complete the Lesson: two 90 minute classes

Tools Needed : Appleworks computer application, Computer

Tasks/Activities : Students will use Appleworks computer program to create a hallway in one point linear perspective. They will include: a wall, door or window at the end of the hallway; a hallway intersecting the main hall; a window on a side wall; a checkerboard pattern and a fantasy, dream or surprise (surrealism).

Additional Information:

The students have been studying linear perspective in the classroom . They must apply the linear perspective techniques they have learned in their art assignments in the classroom to computer graphics software in the lab.
