CITATION TO SHOW CAUSE WHY PARTY SHOULD NOT BE HELD IN CIVIL OR CRIMINAL CONTEMPT OF COURT
TO: , former Co-Guardians
The above-named former co-guardians, , are hereby ORDERED to be and appear before this Court, at 10:00 a.m. on June ____ , 2012, then and there to show cause, if any you have, why you should not be held in civil or criminal contempt of this Court and, if in default of just cause, why you should not be dealt with accordingly. You are hereby put on notice that you may be fined up to $500 and incarcerated for up to 20 days if found in criminal contempt, or you may be incarcerated until you comply with the order of this court if found to be in civil contempt.
The acts, omissions or conduct upon which this Citation is issued, which appear to evidence contempt for or contumacious conduct towards this Court are outlined as follows:
Failure to surrender original Letters of Guardianship issued by this Court on June 23, 2010, pursuant to the Court order dated March 16, 2012.
You are further notified that you will be relieved of attending the hearing and purged of contempt if you produce the two original Letters of Guardianship issued by this Court before the hearing date and pay the sum of $100.00 for service fees.
A copy of this order shall be personally served on the aforesaid Guardians, and the Guardians will be required to reimburse service fees in the amount of $100.00. The clerk is instructed to mail a copy of this Order by first class mail to the ward, her attorney, and the current guardian, the Georgia Department of Human Services.
