A Manic Galahs synopsis by Mowgli, a reminder on what we are dealing with.

This lot are what represent, or think they do, the entire Australian Veteran community in their emails to politicians and media. Some 1,000,000 of us Veterans , according to Corse.

Dignon. Part time Army reserve. National Coordinator of the farcical sea of orange movement, something he began for his own personal gain. The “cause” which basically accused politicians, DVA, and doctors of being liars, was quickly enjoined by this sorry lot below.

Corse. RAInf. In ARA 20 years but never more than a substantive 2Lt.

Joyce. Infantry CMF and Cadets then RAS “O” for service in Vietnam with AATTV 1970. Rejected by 6RAR senior NCOs and WOs for service with that battalion and returned to CMF. Doubt has been cast on his MM.

Wiltshire. RAEME. Short tour Clerk. Fair Army service. From the ranks to Major.

Briggs. RAE. Short tour Nasho. Tried to enlist ARA. Stuffed up, tossed out. Army records reveal ”Relist not approved. Unsatisfactory conduct in previous service”

Kirkman. RAN. Stuffed up, tossed out.

Muller. RAN. Stuffed up, tossed out.

Westerway. RAA. 3 1/2 years ARA, enlisted for 6 years. Stuffed up, tossed out. Army records reveal. ”Retention in the Military Forces not being in the interest of those Forces”

Petersen. RAE. Enlisted 3 years ARA. 30 Terminal Sqn Clerk. Stuffed up, tossed out. Army records reveal “Not to be re-enlisted without prior approval of SO D Div”

Craig. RAEME Nasho. Short tour clerk.

Jenny Bell. A nothing.

What a sorry bunch they are, of the ten ex-servicemen only Wiltshire and Craig completed their AMF-ADF commitments adequately.

You have read the facts and comments we have presented on our pages about this lot, and there will be more. Decide for yourselves who should and who should not, represent you to either DVA or politicians. We suggest you support the ESO of your choice strongly, whether RSL, VVFA, VVAA or TPI but avoid the individual branches that harbour and nurture wannabes. See the ANZMI website for some prime examples www.anzmi.net
