4) There Are NO Perpetual Trophies

1) Age groups danced the age they are on 1st January of the same year. Eg, if a dancer is 11 on 1st January, they dance 11 & under; if 12 on 1st January they dance 13 & under. 2) Dances are danced determined by what championship they are currently in. All dancers can also enter one grade up if they so wish, so Primary/Intermediate or Intermediate/Open. 3) Results will affect this feis only and only 1st place Trophy/Championship winners will go up at this feis next year, so please be honest about what grade your dancers currently are. 4) There are NO perpetual trophies. 5) There will be a split stage for Primary and Intermediate. Both adjudicators will mark Open so will dance a full stage. 6) All Beginners and Primary to dance basic steps throughout all age groups. Intermediate can dance any steps. 7) Entries are non-refundable. 8) All Trophies, Heavy Reels and Championships are 1-5 podium places and all other dancers will be placed thereafter. All dancers placed in Reel. All dancers will receive trophies and other goodies. 9) Slip Jig Thea’s Trophy is in memory of Thea. There will be trophies for 1-3 with other places being medals. Boys can dance a Single Jig if entering this dance. 10)Sashes for Trophy Reels, Championships, Heavy Reels and Thea’s Slip Jig Trophy. 11)No uniform restrictions! 12)As this is an official qualifying feis on behalf of CRG for the World Championships in October 2016, all dances names will be given to Linda Dolan as proof of dancing at the feis.

Entries to be in by 7th November please.
