Minutes of the Veda – Science Project Meeting Held on 10-04-2015 in the Conference Hall of the University

Devanathan has introduced all the members. The members of the committee have made the following recommendations unanimously.

1. It is resolved that at the initial stages the S.V. Vedic University shall bear the financial burden for the selected projects 2. It is resolved to constitute a sub-committee with the following members to scrutinize and evaluate the project proposals a. Prof. Prahlada, Benguluru – Chairman b. An eminent scholar in the concerned field of sciences – Member c. Registrar, SVVU – Convener 3. It is resolved to invite the Principal Investigator to explain the project proposal & give presentation in front of the Project Evaluation Committee in due course 4. It is resolved to utilize the services of the following Vedic Scholars to provide Vedic knowledge to the Scientific teams. a. Dr. K.V. Hanumath Sharma, Asst. Professor, SVVU b. Dr. Vamshikrishna Ghanapathi, Dattapeetham, Mysore c. Dr. P. Ramanujam, C-DAC, Benguluru d. Dr. Ch. Shrirama Sharma, Rajahmundry e. Sri Phani Yagneshwara Yajulu, Asst. Professor, SVVU f. Sri P. Ramakrishna Somayajulu, Asst. Professor, SVVU g. Sri K. Purushothamacharyulu, Asst. Professor, SVVU h. Dr. N. Murali, Guest Lecturer, SVVU 5. It is resolved to prepare a uniform MoU (template of MoU) to make MoU with any Institute/University 6. It is resolved to take up projects related to Cryptography, Paanineeya Vyaakarana and Life Sciences on top priority 7. It is resolved to encourage young Vedic Scholars and Scientists to participate in the researches undertaken by the cell 8. It is resolved to identify and short list scientists who have done Vedadhyayana and engage them in Veda Sciences researches undertaken by SVVU on full-time basis. 9. In order to follow the scientific research methodology in all the Vedic – Sciences Project, Prof. K.V. Ramakrishnamacharyulu has suggested that the Modern Sciences Scholar shall be the Principal Investigator and Traditional Vedic Scholar shall be the Co-Investigator of Veda – Science Project 10. It is resolved to create a centralized repository by collecting information in different forms, digitized and categorized in different sections and make it available online to all stake holders. 11. It is resolved to identify the scholars who are keen to serve Vedas and encourage them by supporting them to take up independent research project 12. It is resolved to conduct an International Workshop on Vedas & Sciences in the next academic year i.e., 2015-16 by S.V. Vedic University in the month of November, 2015 13. It is resolved to conduct discourses by eminent scholars monthly/quarterly either in SVVU or other institutions 14. It is resolved to organize an interaction programme between Traditional Vedic Scholars and Modern Scientists in SVVU or other institutions 15. It is resolved to perform “Ishthi” once in the campus of SVVU and observe the environment and record the findings 16. It is resolved to collect Books/Articles/Journals and other materials related to traditional Vedas, Vedic Sciences etc. for the University libraries 17. It is resolved to procure manuscripts from national and international libraries
