Welcome to your grade 12 year! Bateman has many fun, exciting activities planned for your final year of school in addition to the scholastic endeavours you are engaged in.

In order to participate in Graduation Activities, we invite you to apply to become a member of the Class of 2016!

Why complete this form? If you do not complete and hand in your form you WILL NOT be on the grad list and your name may be missed in things like the yearbook, grad composite, grad t-shirt, grad photos, and ordering details like venues and grad gowns. NO FORM submitted ON TIME means that YOU WILL be missed when it comes to the details.

With fun comes responsibility and commitment so here goes: Please sign below, which acknowledge you agree to the commitments and responsibilities of being a senior member of the Grad Class. Read carefully and sign in the blanks provided.

I understand that by completing the required courses to graduate that I have earned the right to participate in Grad Ceremonies. Credits are reviewed at the end of Term 3. INITIAL ______

I understand that in order to participate in grad activities including Grad Ceremonies, Grad Lock In, Grad Cruise, Grad vs Staff games, Grad Fashion Show, and Grad Dinner and Dance plus other activities planned by the Grad Council, I must demonstrate good conduct and be an upstanding, contributing member of the Grad Class. And now to the fun. . . We’d like to know some IMPORTANT details that allow us to start planning for your year ahead.

1. GRAD CEREMONIES: This event is the formal process of crossing the stage with cap and gown. Your parents receive invitations to attend. During this event scholarships and bursaries are presented.

2. GRAD LOCK-IN This event happens at the either the MRC or ARC. You can participate in Lock- in without participating in Grad Ceremonies. Most grads choose to participate as the event includes swimming, skating, casino, many prizes, entertainment, cartoon artist and more. 3. PROM (Dinner and Dance Banquet) This event includes the Moonlight Mart, an opportunity for you to come to the school during the day of Prom for photos, plus the formal introduction and promenade in the gym for parents and family to take photos of the entire grad class, plus Grad Parade (to school) and Prom, the Dinner and Dance (venue to be determined).

b. Will you be purchasing a date ticket for Prom (bringing a date from outside your grad class either at in grade 9-11 at RBSS, another Abbotsford high school, or already graduated)?
