CONGRATULATIONS - We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected into the U14 Bournemouth Satellite Netball Academy.

TRAINING SESSIONS AT SIR DAVID ENGLISH SPORTS CENTRE TRAINING SESSIONS: 5.00 - 6.30pm 4th Oct, 18th Oct, 1st Nov, 15th Nov, 29th Nov, 10th Jan, 24th Jan, 7th Feb, 21st Feb, 7th March, 14th March (Mini Tmt with other Satellites)

Please arrive promptly for all Sessions and wear White Netball top, skirt and suitable footwear. A Satellite Academy T-shirt must be purchased by you if you do not already have one. Please also ensure you bring your own drinking fluids and energy snacks. Your coaching team will be:

The Satellite Academy will run under the National Performance Pathway Guidelines. Further information can be found on www.englandnetball.co.uk/International/Performance. The Programme is training based, not competition based.

Competition should be provided by your Netball Club and School.

For Insurance reasons ALL SATELLITE ATHLETES MUST BE FULLY AFFILIATED THROUGH A CLUB. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR CLUB REGARDING THIS.

If for any reason you are unable to attend a training session please ensure that you contact the Head Coach with your apologies. Failure to do this could jeopardise your place on the programme.

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT – Bournemouth Satellite

By being selected into the Dorset Performance Netball Academy, you are asked to note our Academy guidelines, as outlined below.

It is anticipated that all players and parents/guardians will agree to the terms for the duration of the Programme. Failure to comply with these guidelines could result in suspension or withdrawal from the Academy. PLAYER:

I agree to:  Be fully affiliated to the Governing Bodies (England Netball/Region/County)  Attend all training sessions.  If injured still attend training sessions (unless Coach has agreed absence).  If unable to attend to notify a Coach as early as possible.  Give training my full commitment.  Keep my fitness at the required level.  Pay fees punctually.  Wear appropriate training and match kit.  Not smoke, drink alcohol or take any banned substances at any time.  Be considerate to others and demonstrate the correct attitude and behaviour.  Raise any issues / questions through the Coach or Safeguarding Officer. Agrees to:

 Ensure the Coaches are fully qualified.  Ensure appropriate and safe sessions are delivered by the Coaches.  Ensure the Coaches assume full responsibility for the players whilst in their care.  Notify players of any changes in the training or playing schedules.  Ensure Coaches provide feedback to players on performance when and where appropriate.
