SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT

INTRODUCTION

Employee Advisory Resource Limited, trading as Workplace Options, believes in the prevention of modern slavery and human trafficking and is opposed to all abuses of a person’s freedoms and rights. All of our business dealings and the conduct of all persons or organizations with whom we contract directly or who we appoint to act on our behalf must act in a way which is consistent with our policies. Our employees are expected to report human rights abuses concerns immediately to management.

Workplace Options is a global supplier of employee assistance program services.

OUR SUPPLY CHAINS

Our supply chain includes a network of providers of employee assistance program services who are in large part licensed professionals.

OUR POLICIES ON SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Workplace Options is absolutely committed to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain or in any part of our business. Our corporate policies reflect our commitment to act ethically and with integrity and in accordance to the applicable laws.

We endeavor to carry out our own recruitment activities and/or to only use reputable employment agencies to source labor and we carry out appropriate background checks. Personnel responsible for the recruitment activities in any of the subsidiaries are advised to adhere to this policy by ensuring that strict verification of potential employee’s right to work is carried out before any offer of employment is made.

DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES FOR SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

 Our providers of employee assistance program services are required to meet professionally recognized standards of practice and/or credentialing standards.  Workplace Options expects that all employment within its supply chain is voluntary. With regards to any member of our supply chain, we expect these entities to act with the ethics and integrity and have suitable ethics policies and processes and to adhere to all laws regarding the same.  We have in place a Whistle Blower Policy and an anonymous ethical hotline to encourage the reporting of concerns and to protect whistle blowers.

SUPPLIER ADHERENCE TO OUR VALUES

Workplace Options has zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to behaving ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own businesses or those of our suppliers or providers. Where necessary and if required, we may request demonstration of compliance with this policy.

AWARNESS

Our management team members have an obligation to familiarize themselves and their staff with the Modern Slavery Act and to help identify and prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.

As well as training employees, the company will raise awareness of modern slavery issues by emailing the anti-slavery and human trafficking policy to all employees as well as it being made available on the company’s intranet.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our group's slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
