SIG NAME GOALS/OBJECTIVES Co-Leaders To expose medical students to a variety of possible careers in Academic Medicine. IMSIF is dedicated to providing exposure and guidance to current medical students about a possible future career in Internal Medicine or it subspecialties. There are many career choices available within Internal Medicine, and IMSIG serves as the Evelyn Ling main resource for medical students interested in this field. In Vivo is the creative arts magazine for students, faculty, patients and staff of the UC Davis Health System. Our mission is to provide a glimpse into the life within the medical Siddarth Puri center and to showcase the creative talents of the UC Davis family. LMSA is dedicated to providing social and professional support for Latino Krystal Chan students, and committed to increasing cultural awareness within our medical school Latino Medical Student Luz Contreras community. Siddarth Puri Students for Integrative Medicine sponsors lectures, demonstrations and Kelly gray discussions related to the interface between allopathic medicine and CAM practices William Tuong in today’s Healthcare environment. SNMA brings together students committed to the health and well being of underserved populations with a focus on clinical care, academic medicine and service. In 1994, SNMA members founded the Imani Clinic – a student run facility which provides health care to the Oak Park community of Sacramento on a weekly Leon Cushenberry basis. Our goals are to 1) educate students, faculty, policy makers and the medical Student National Medical Alexis Gaskin community about the healthcare needs and concerns within underserved Daphne Shankle Association (SNMA) communities. 2) Increase student access to clinical opportunities working with and Heather Barnes within underserved communities. 3) Address issues concerning the medical Brittany Lewis education of traditionally under-represented students. 4) Provide a network of support and resources for current and prospective medical students.
