STUDENT SENATE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM

Montgomery College, Rockville Campus

Thank you for your interest in the position of Senator-at-Large within the Student Senate at Montgomery College, Rockville Campus. Please complete this application to run for office. Please review the requirements below to ensure that you are eligible before submitting your application.

Eligibility Requirements:  Resume highlighting your activities or experiences  A one-page, double spaced essay stating the reasons for applying to the Student Senate  GPA of 2.5 or higher (your GPA will be verified by the Office of student life. If this is your first semester at MC, there is no GPA requirement.)  200 signatures from current MC students  Interview by senate members  A completed recommendation form from a student, faculty, staff or administrator.

Applications should be submitted to the Office of Student Life’s front desk (CC005). The deadline for all Fall 2013 applications is September 3rd no later than 5:00 PM*. (Office closes at 5:00 pm)
