Juniors Erin 37 Kennedy and Jordan Kennedy were selected to the All-Region 38 Seven Team and the All-State Team; and 39 40 Whereas, the rest of the team included Juniors Catelyn Amende, 41 Audrey Butz, Sarah Christenberry, Elizabeth Whiteman, Amy 42 Whitt, Sharonda Wine, and Sophomore Lauren Bass; and
1 [4818] 1 1 2 Whereas, the West Ashley Wildcats Volleyball Team did not only 3 excel on the court but in the classroom as well, for the team 4 compiled an astonishing 3.678 average GPA; and 5 6 Whereas, the members of the General Assembly take pride in 7 recognizing the young ladies of the 2005 West Ashley Wildcats 8 Volleyball Team for their many accomplishments and in honoring 9 them as outstanding student athletes for all of their hard work and 10 preparations on and off the court. Now, therefore, 11 12 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate 13 concurring: 14 15 That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South 16 Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate the West Ashley High 17 School Volleyball Team of Charleston County on its impressive 18 State AAAA Volleyball Championship Title, and honor its players 19 and their coach, Christy Jickling, on an extraordinary season. 20 21 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to 22 the players, coaches, and school officials of the West Ashley High 23 School Volleyball Team. 24 ----XX---- 25
