You will be required to: -

 Production Welding to drawing  Set and Operate welding equipment  Work to production schedule’s  Maintain a high level of quality and self inspection  Work within a small team and also on your own  Produce pre production parts (one off’s)  Operate hand tools related to Welding to include: Grinders, files etc.

Dimensions and limits of Authority Reporting to the Team leader on a daily basis, you will be required to communicate any problems that affect your working environment, to include HSE related problems, quality and machine maintenance problems.

Skills Required You will need a combination of the following skills: Communiction, numeracy and an excellent understanding of engineering drawings.

Desirable Skills

Folk lift truck licence First aid certificate

Qualifications

Any qualifications related to welding

Experience

Have worked in a production environment, able to read/work to engineering drawings. All welding will be MIG but a competent TIG welder would be an advantage.
