<p> Kidd Farm Machinery</p><p>Job Profile</p><p>Job Title: Production Operative</p><p>Main purpose of job</p><p>Welder</p><p>Position in the organisation</p><p>KIDD MACHINERY</p><p>(Director MD)</p><p>Operations Manager</p><p>Welding team Assembly team Metal prep team leader leader leader</p><p>Welding Paint Sprayer Brake press, operators operator laser operator Scope of the job</p><p>You will be required to: -</p><p> Production Welding to drawing  Set and Operate welding equipment  Work to production schedule’s  Maintain a high level of quality and self inspection  Work within a small team and also on your own  Produce pre production parts (one off’s)  Operate hand tools related to Welding to include: Grinders, files etc.</p><p>Dimensions and limits of Authority Reporting to the Team leader on a daily basis, you will be required to communicate any problems that affect your working environment, to include HSE related problems, quality and machine maintenance problems. </p><p>Skills Required You will need a combination of the following skills: Communiction, numeracy and an excellent understanding of engineering drawings.</p><p>Desirable Skills</p><p>Folk lift truck licence First aid certificate</p><p>Qualifications</p><p>Any qualifications related to welding</p><p>Experience</p><p>Have worked in a production environment, able to read/work to engineering drawings. All welding will be MIG but a competent TIG welder would be an advantage. </p>
