Required Qualifications:  Current Sonoma State student  Strong background and knowledge of health, fitness, and wellness  Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills  Desire to continue education in personal training/fitness

Preferred Qualifications:  Personal Training Certification from a nationally recognized organization  Previous fitness instruction experience  Background and knowledge of nutrition/wellness

Duties and Responsibilities:  Schedule, review, and actively participate in the Personal Training hiring process  Schedule and conduct biweekly staff meetings, client consultations, and fitness assessments  Organize and update client and staff databases  Maintain optimal communication between coordinator and clients, personal training staff, programmers, and full time supervisors  Conduct and attend weekly meetings between coordinator and full-time supervisor  Attend and actively participate in weekly programmer meetings  Attend and actively participate in semester programmer retreats  Organize and coordinate marketing ideas, special events, and promotions  Provide opportunities for continuing education through meetings, presentations, workshops, certifications, etc. 1.
