MO-TAC SYSTEMS Presents SLPD SWAT 10/2010 SWAT TACTICAL RAPPELLING April 24-25, 2014

This two day course will provide the attendee with the mental, physical and skill sets necessary to rappel in a high-risk environment. The core instructors have an extensive background in tactical operations, raid planning and execution, CQB and tactical firearms. The principal instructors are rappel masters from the FBI and fire department..

The following topics will be presented throughout the course:

 Basic Concepts of Rappelling  Rappel Ropes and Knots  Rappel Harnesses and Swiss Seats  Tactical Rappelling Techniques  Tactical Rappelling with all Tactical Gear including Weapons functioning  Rappel Anchors, Belaying and Ascending

Required equipment: Rappel equipment, eye and ear protection, tactical holster and vest, helmet, shields, gas mask, carry weapons with no ammunition (handgun/sub-gun).

Training location: Monarch Fire Protection District Fire Tower, Chesterfield, Mo. This course will assist first tactical responders to handle immediate crisis situations when tactical rappelling is needed to make entry from above or ascending from below and also has been needed in manhunt/missing person cases. Lodging can be made at numerous motels in the Chesterfield, Mo. area.
