2 INSTRUCTIONS

Refer to the KulturaTV Fund Guidelines for Applicants.

You may submit your application form with all relevant supporting documents as follows:

- By sending an email on [email protected] till noon on the day of the deadline. It is essential that in the same email you include all additional supporting documents as required by the guidelines and regulations. You should also include your signature (electronic signature or scan) as indicated on the application form.

- By submitting a printed copy and a soft copy of the application form by hand at: Arts Council Malta 16, Casa Scaglia, Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street, Valletta VLT 1311

You can submit your application form between Monday and Friday from 09:00 till 16:30. On the day of the deadline, application forms will only be accepted until noon (12:00).

Applications that reach the Council after the deadline will not be accepted.

Applications that do not include all the requested material or are deemed ineligible as per the Kultura TV guidelines will be considered ineligible and will not be processed further. Only completed applications will be accepted.

The Application package should include the following material:

1. Hard copy of signed declaration form (Section C) 2. Soft copy of complete application (Section A, B, C) in digital format (USB or CD) 3. Soft copy (scans of original copies) of mandatory documentation:

i. If application is submitted by an independent production company,

3 broadcaster letters of commitment as well as a deal memo. ii. Mood Board iii. Treatment as well as the script draft (if available) iv. Bio notes of key contributors to the project v. Evidence of ownership of rights for proposed project or contract of acquisition /transfer of rights;

Additional documentation (if available): i. Letter(s) of intent from financing partners ii. Letter(s) of interest of co-development, co-production, pre-sale/distribution or other, agreement(s)

The application form and documents/annexes will be evaluated, in terms of award criteria, by the independent expert team as outlined in the Guidelines for Applicants.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The administrators of the Kultura TV Fund will hold the information provided by the applicant in a paper based and computerised system. The administrators of the fund will use this information to process applications and awards in line with its published guidelines and will retain confidentiality in compliance with all applicable Data Protection legislation.

If at any point in the evaluation or implementation process sound evidence is discovered that contradicts the Applicant’s Declaration below, the administrators shall disqualify the application as ineligible and, if a project has been approved for funding, shall demand full reimbursement, with interest, of any payments already issued to the applicant.
