Art and Concerts Galleria- Daniel Evans- Sept. 1 – Oct. 31 Drawing from the field of psychology, anthropology, mythology and literature, Daniel Evans’ art explores the ways in which archetypal stories perpetuate through time, adapting and changing to suit media and models of communication. Location: 205 8th Ave SE Milestones Project Photo Exhibit – Sept. 1- Oct. 31 The photos of the Steckels collection promote cultural tolerance and celebrate childhood around the world. Social enterprise refers to business ventures operated by non-profits, whether they are societies, charities, or cooperatives. These businesses sell goods or provide services in the market for the purpose of creating a blended return on investment, both financial and social. Their profits are returned to the business or to a social purpose, rather than maximizing profits to shareholders. The celebration will be held at BMO Centre, Palomino Room, Stampede Park, 4:30-7:30 pm.
