Just 2 days away! – Culinary Scholarships Are Key Ingredient in Competition

Presented by Adonia, Perrier, Stubbs & Beef Council Winners Recipes to be Sampled at Winterfest White Party

FORT LAUDERDALE (Broward County), FL – Culinary students from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale will be competing for tasty prizes awarded by Adonia, Perrier, Stubbs & Beef Council in conjunction with the Gray Robinson, P.A. Winterfest White Party. The cook-off and judging is on Friday, September 14, beginning at 9:30am, in the college’s culinary kitchens at, 1650 SE 17 Street, Ft. Lauderdale. Students will be preparing original recipes containing a variety of products in one of five categories: Small Bites, Beef Entry, Sliders, Dessert and Beverage.

Judging the event are: Belkys Nerey – WSVN News Anchor and “A Bite with Belkys” Segment Ashley Hughes – Beef Council Danilo Zecchin – Ciao Bella Executive Chef Jack Kane – Chef / Director of Culinary School at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Ralph Pagano – Celebrity Chef

“Perrier is back again along with our new sponsors Adonia, Stubbs and Beef Council to support Winterfest this year,” says Tammy Gail, Floridata, representing the prize money supporters. “We are especially excited to be working with The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in this year’s culinary competition and look forward to supporting these students towards their advancement in culinary education.”

A total of $2900 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the winners. Students must be currently enrolled and in good standing at The Art Institute. All First Place Winners will present their winning recipes at the Gray Robinson, PA Winterfest White Party at the Harbor Beach Marriott, Friday, November 2nd.
