1 CONDITION OF ENTRY 1. All Halter Horses must be registered with their appropriate breeds. 2. Open Performance classes are open to all horse breeds. (Arab, Thoroughbred, Warmblood etc). 3. All Amateurs must present a current Amateur Permit with their relevant breed society. 4. Youth are children 18 years and under that are not competing in walk/trot or lead line. 5. 2 Year old ridden horses that have just been broken in under saddle can compete in 5 ridden classes only. 6. Junior Horses are 5 years and under. 7. Senior Horses are 6 years and over, and must be 1 handed in Western. 8. Beginner/Improver Riders who have not won more than 6 Blue (1st) ribbons in that particular event. 9. No refunds available if competitors are unable to complete their nominated classes Competitor’s/participants at any event run by (Laidley Walloon Quarter Horse & Performance Inc) have a responsibility to ensure the welfare of their horses and at all times to treat their horses humanely and with dignity, respect and compassion. Competitors/participants are to conduct themselves in a professional manner and act with integrity in all dealings with the Affiliate and other competitors. To uphold the rules and regulations of the (LWQHAP) and the AQHA at all times. Competitors/participants are to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times, showing respect for your fellow competitors and officials, following the rules and to treat people the way you yourself wish to be treated.
No alcohol is allowed in, or can be consumed in the marshalling areas, working arenas or show pen/contest areas
All youth competing or taking part in an AQHA approved event, must have written permission from their parent/guardian to be at that event as a contestant or participant and in the case of a contest, the parent/guardian must also sign the entry form. All youth competing or taking part in an AQHA approved event, must be in the care of a responsible adult who is in attendance for the duration of that event, whilst the youth is in attendance at that event ENTRIES 1. Nominations on the day 2. All Handlers & assistants must be suitably attired, shorts, singlets, thongs, caps, joggers & similar attire are not permitted. (Joggers may be worn for Hunter in Hand only) 3. Open Riders (English/Western) must be in correct attire and saddlery. 4. Exhibitors shall at all times behave in a proper and courteous manner to the judge, officials & other exhibitors. 5. Exhibitors must not talk to the judge while showing, they can be expelled from the ring. 6. Q Kids classes are only for registered members in the Laidley-Walloon QH Assoc. 7. Entry Fees for ALL classes is $6.00. Back numbers (refundable) $5.00. Temporary Membership Fee $10.00 (For non-affiliate/non AQHA Members) 8. Ribbons will be placed to 3rd and points to 6th place.
