LESSON CONTENT WARM UP Ensure children don't go round in circles. Space game - travelling and stopping, using music as the signal to go and stop -once they are still, use stretching Ensure children keep their heads up and look where actions to explore their own 'personal' space, Introduce they arc going. EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT (Main Teaching)

Having selected a range of words from the 'Mean Give pupils a range of sounds to support their Machine' poem - respond to the words individually for improvisation. Can they select appropriate example – shake / rattle / spin/ push / pull / turn percussion to accompany particular words?
