How does my child purchase milk only if he/she brings a lunch from home?

Your child may bring in 50 cents cash or you can pre-pay into their account and the 50 cents for milk will be deducted when they come through the serving line.

If my child receives free or reduced price meals, can I deposit money into his/her account to pay for extra milk, etc.?

Can I have quarterly milk break money deducted from my child’s account?

Yes. Call your child’s school food service department and they will take care of it for you. My child says he/she is out of money or I received an automated low/negative balance phone call and I sent a check yesterday. How do I check on this?

Please check with your child first to make sure the check was turned in. Call your child’s school food service department and give them the check number. They can run a report to see which account it was deposited into or track the check down if it hasn’t yet reached the cashier. Checks are preferred, but cash can be tracked also as long as it has been put into an envelope with the child’s name and amount on it.

I gave my child $20.00 five days ago and now he/she says she is out of money. How is this possible?

A statement can be printed out showing account deposits and detailed purchases. Call your child’s food service department with account questions. Please discuss reasonable ala carte purchase amounts with your child. Daily spending or purchases limits can be set on the account.

What happens to the money left in my child’s account at the end of the school year?

The money carries forward to the next school year, whether it’s a positive or negative balance. If your child moves from one building to another, the money will follow them.

My child has left the school district or graduated. Can I get what’s left in his/her account refunded to me?
