PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 Designed new courses and materials.  Participated in preparing the English department's placement test from (1993-1998).  Served for several years as an academic advisor for the English Department students.  Supported the writing lab activities.  Gave orientation to the new and part-time faculty members.  Assessed student course work and material.  Was involved in the set up of exams and the marking of results.  Prepared reports relevant to coordination between different sections. 2  Was responsible for preparing learning material for courses and devising relevant practical activities.  Involved in course team activities and curriculum development for students.  Participated in the interviewing of students involved in oral exams.  Excellent time management skills to ensure targets are met and plans are completed efficiently.

Conferences and Lectures

 The first International Conference on Arabic-English Contrastive and Comparative Study held at the University of Jordan during the period 23-27 August 1997.  The Faculty of Arts 1st International Conference on Discourse: Language, Literature, and Culture held at the University of Jordan during the period 8-10 May 2007.
