Brief Description This course will provide an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders with an emphasis on autism and Asperger syndrome. At the end of this course, students will demonstrate knowledge and skills related to historical perspectives, definition, characteristics, related legislations, identification and placement alternatives, and intervention methods.
