A-Would you please stand and join us for the pledge of allegiance: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

K-Now for the Texas pledge: “Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.”

And now for the moment of silence.

A-Unfortunately due to a playoff game this Saturday the PTA will be postponing the Jingle Bell Run and will be having an event in the Spring instead! Again, the Jingle Bell Run will NOT be held tomorrow! Look for announcements in the Spring! K-UIL proses teams will be having practices today. Please check the Edmodo group for more information. A-Attention 8th graders only...It's HAC Attack time! Please get out your iPad and log in to HAC! Remember, if you are having trouble logging in, please let your teacher know immediately!

K-It's beginning to look like Christmas and the Theatre club is selling Very Merry Happy O'Grams during lunch periods now through Friday! Club members will sell the O'Gram during your lunch periods for only 25 cents. You simply fill out the card, drop it off in the box labeled 7th grade or 8th grade in the cafeteria and the Theatre club members will deliver your card with a candy cane attached on December 9th. Be sure to fill out the card with the person’s name and their 2nd period teacher! Don't know their 2nd period class, then have someone ask for you! And buy them a card too! That's going on now through Friday, in the cafeteria, 25 cents for a Very Merry Happy O'Gram. Happy Holidays from the Fine Arts department and Theatre Club!

A-UIL Academic students will again board buses for another round of competition. This time, team members will participate in the Belton UIL contest. Team members that are on the Spelling and Maps, Graphs, Charts team will compete tomorrow at Belton. Please check in with your Coach for information on where and what time you are to meet. Then Saturday all other UIL team members will board the bus to compete in an all-day UIL event! Again, you need to get in touch with your Coach for information on where and what time you are to meet for the competition. Good luck to all team members and their Coaches!

K-Now here’s a Thoughtful Thursday moment from the counselors. (Video)

A-What do these two things have in common? (Show pictures) Well they are both this week's MMS PALS Fashion Friday! Let's get all crazy with crazy hair or if crazy hair is not your thing, ask mom or grandma for one of her beautiful, 80's Christmas sweaters. (wink) Either one you choose, crazy hair or ugly Christmas sweater, you are supporting Waco Community Cancer Association by purchasing a bracelet to participate! Wristbands will be sold today during lunch and tomorrow morning.

K-Now here’s Alex for today’s special segment! A-That’s all we have for today! Have a Thoughtful Thursday and remember… K-It’s a great day to be a panther!
