Please answer any sections that pertain to your project. ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS:

Is energy efficiency a primary concern? Do you wish to achieve ‘Built Green’ status with your home?

What are your preferences for heating your home? Would you like to take advantage of the sun for heating and/or electrical production?

Have you considered a cooling system? Are you interested in having a heat pump installed as part of your heating and ventilation system?

Do you plan to have a fireplace – gas? wood?

Does anyone that will be living in the house have allergies that need to be considered?

Is your preference for non-toxic materials, even if it adds some expense?

We use materials that are recycled or have recycled content as much as possible and consider the environmental impact of the materials we use. This may involve higher initial costs. Does this approach appeal to you?

SITE CONSIDERATIONS:

What are the most significant natural features of your property? What are the most important views? Are there elements that need to be screened from view?

Are you aware of any issues with the site, for example, soil conditions, rock outcrops, drainage?

Are there any easements or deeded restrictions that you are aware of?
