2017 WVMEA Solo and Ensemble Festivals

WVMEA Solo and Ensemble Festivals in the past have generally been on a Saturday in January and/or February. Students must meet the requirements set forth in the Solo and Ensemble Rules and Regulations in order to be eligible to participate. As well, students must enter through a current member of WVMEA. All recordings for the Honors Recitals should be sent to Will Cosby. You should make a CD or cassette recording. Recordings can be made before the festival, but the personnel on the recording must be the same that appeared at the festival. With the festival being fairly early this year, it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that students make their recordings ahead of time.

Recording Submission Deadline: All recordings must be postmarked no later than Friday February 3 rd or Hand delivered by 8:00 pm Tuesday February 7 th.
