Cashier Priorities

CASHIER PRIORITIES Rev. 8-97

1. Be neat, clean, SMILE and be pleasant. Keep your area clean, neat and stocked. (This means PICK things up off the floor!). 2. FIRST take care of customers paying their bills. You are responsible for the money in the registers being accurate. Keep enough change in the registers. 3. Second, take window orders and answer the phone. After that take counter togo orders. Be ACCURATE. Speed counts for nothing unless the right person gets the right food AS he ordered it. 4. ASK for help, managers and waitresses can get drinks and answer the phone, but they can’t read your mind. 5. When you have extra time help the cooks and waitresses. And do extra cleaning.

Non-customers may/should be put on hold, but unless you must, don’t answer the phone or window to put them on hold, if we can’t hear it ring we can’t help you. Business phone is for business and emergencies only. Take messages for employees if you must. Familiarize yourself with the video game refund rules, and credit card rules. Make sure any cash bill you paid is first checked off then marked “paid” BY the person getting the money.

Read and follow the Rules of Conduct. Read and follow the Service Guidelines.
