 Read, “Barrio Boy” o Guided comprehension 9/16 - YWBAT analyze how particular elements of a story or drama interact. YWBAT analyze the interactions between individuals, events and ideas in a text.  Warm up: re-read “Barrio Boy” and answer critical thinking questions 2-4) o Discuss (using evidence)

 Vocabulary practice  Write objective summary of selection o Begin as a class finish in pairs 9/17 - YWBAT analyze how particular elements of a story or drama interact.
