NORFOLK STATE UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CHESAPEAKE CHAPTER - WILLIAM E. WARD SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

The Chesapeake Chapter of Norfolk State University Alumni Association will award three $500.00 scholarships to qualified students. To be eligible for a $500.00 non-renewable scholarship towards tuition, high school seniors must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a Chesapeake resident, and attend a Chesapeake high school.

2. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7.

3. Provide an official copy of a current high school transcript.

4. Demonstrate scholastic merit and/or financial need.

5. Provide information on school/community involvement.

6. Address why you should be a scholarship recipient, and your career goal.

7. Must be accepted by Norfolk State University Office of Admissions, and intend to enroll for the fall semester.
