------To Ashplot@???.???

Mr. Ashplot, I've just been named the "Secretary of the Interior of Blythedale" by Jonathan Dragonhart and Daniel Star Grimsby. For the next month, I will be touring Blythedale, with the goal of improving the quality of life for commoners, increasing farming and livestock productivity, improving the roads, looking for recruits for the Cullions Guild, and re- establishing my old connections to the Dockside Thieves Guild. (of course I ALWAYS have a secret agenda) .

A few years ago, Gadlen was an active member of the Dockside Thieves Guild. I had been given some folks to assassinate after a Dockside Thieves Guild module. The adventurers had taken lots of stuff from the Guild so they put a hit out on them to be carried out by me. Unfortunately, by the time I had their deaths all planned out, every one of my potential victims had left the game (OOG :-( ) I haven't done anything with them since. My contact's name was "Ablondie". Gadlen has met him so he would be able to recognize him.. assuming he wasn't killed when the Dockside Thieves Guild was disbanded.

I am the leader of The Cullions Guild. It is exactly what Cullion has been advertising as...a Revenge for Hire service. So far, I have very few members maybe 2 to 4 but it'll hopefully be growing soon.

--- Here is a letter to the Duke on this subject:

Your Majesty,

Let me present myself to your grace for the first time as the Secretary of the Interior of Blythedale. My position commands me to look into all matters of the land. As such, in a few days time I will be touring Blythedale for a month with the goal of improving the state of the lands. I will be looking into improved farming techniques, increased livestock productivity, bettering the roads, and routing out common thieves. This past weekend, I heard your grace say in a meeting that there will be a good harvest this spring. If your grace has any insight into the matters that concern my task, I would be much obliged.

In actuality, it was a Dragon that "taught" me my "Leap-Dodge" by way of Rifting me out, taking me 200 feet and Rifting me back in. The NPC said he had so much fun with it, he'd definitely respond to the ad in some way.

------message sent to Derek ------To [email protected] Please change my entry in nerohq.com/whoswho.htm from "Gadlen Chimera" to "Gadlen Chimeran"

You have the horn, now blow it! This weekend, the Cullions Guild distributed a large number of contact forms and keys. If you need to call on us, write your message, encrypt it and post it in the Dragon's Flagon (email it to the Nero-Ashbury list). We'll respond!

quotes: To add to this quote... >Peasant Complaint: My carpeting in my house is growing to the roof. (A) >My cat is somewhere in the room, but for the last few days the meowing has >gotten weaker and weaker. >Sir Dugal: Cut and sell the carpeting. >Peasant: What about Fuzz ball? >Sir Dugal: Turn the rug over and shake it out. Peasant: But what about Fuzz Ball? Sir Dugal: Cats always land on their feet.

------Mike, you said something about needing a database for the estate system. Tell me more. I need to know what databases already exist that are even remotely related to this function and who designed them. I'll need to be in close contact with them. I'll also need to talk to someone who will be using the database so we can figure out exactly what information you want in it. If it's as simple as you say, then creating the database is trivial, designing exactly what you want in it is the hard part.

------Don't forget to send me a list of email addresses so I can build the mailing list It'll be [email protected]

From Gadlen: Daniel, Do we currently have any resources that I might use to improve the state of agriculture in Blythedale? Possible resources would include: an agricultural library, a standard research library, access to any experts in the field. Can you give me Solemn Judgement's email address? He might have something to add here.

I'll be beginning my tour by the end of the week. I'm seriously considering becoming trained in the finer arts of land management.
