Myanmar Art Adventure Price

 9 days 8 nights @ S$2450 only, inclusive of professional plein air painting and sketching workshop (conducted by Chankerk) and landed tour organised by Myanmar travel agent, accommodation, local transportation, all meals, 3 domestic flights, airport taxes. Itineraries*

Day 1 Yangon (D) Arrival before noon, lunch on your own and transfer to Taw Win garden Hotel. 3pm- Visit Newzero art gallery – A non-profit independent art space that strive to promote modern art in Myanmar. Visit and sketch 2600 years old Shwedagone pagoda, landmark of Yangoon, one of the most famous pagodas in the world, stunning 99 meters high golden roof sits atop of a hill. Evening-Dinner at Karaweik Barge with traditional culture dance.

Day 2 Yangon-Bagan (by flight) (B/L/D) Morning –After breakfast in the hotel, take morning flight to Bagan. Check into the Z freeti Hotel and depart for painting and sketching exploration of stunning temples and stupas view around the Bagan Archaeological Zone World Heritage Area. There are about 2,000 of them covering an area of 16 square miles on the eastern bank of the Ayeyarwady in central Myanmar. Lunch on the spot. Evening- Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from one of the temple of Bagan. Return to hotel and have dinner.

Day 3 Bagan (B/L/D) Morning-Breakfast in the hotel. Painting and sketching exploration near the Tantkyi hill located on the western side of Ayeyarwaddy River. Lunch on the spot. Evening-Return to hotel and have dinner.

Day 4 Bagan(B/L/D) Morning-Breakfast in the hotel, painting and sketching exploration of market view near Nyaung U. The Nyaung U Market provides great sketching opportunity to capture watch how local conduct their daily lives. Noon-. Lunch on the spot. Afternoon- Painting and sketching adventure of Village view and lacquer-ware factory. Evening-Return to hotel and have dinner.

Day 5 Bagan(B/L/D) Morning-Breakfast in the hotel, painting and sketching exploration of Mt. Popa about 48 km south east of Bagan. a volcano 1518 metres (4981 feet) above sea level , and is best known as a pilgrimage site with great view, with numerous temples and relic sites atop the mountain. .Lunch on the spot. Evening-Return to hotel and have dinner.

Day 6 Bagan-Heho-Inle (by flight) Taunggyi (B/L/D) Morning –After breakfast, take morning flight to Heho and transfer to Taunggyi hotel Taunggyi is 4.712feet above the sea level and has a moderate climate situated on a high plateau surrounded by high mountains in the southern Shan State. After settled in hotel, painting and sketching exploration around the city, including the Myoma Market(Floating market). which is the busiest part of Taunggyi and gathering point of minorities . Noon-After lunch, painting at Shwe Phone Pwint Pagoda, which provides a panoramic view of Taunggyi City. Evening-Return to hotel and have dinner.

Day 7 Taunggyi- - Red Mountain (B/L/D) Morning- Breakfast in the hotel, painting and sketching exploration at Red Mountain, the vine yard with great view that produce best quality wine in Myanmar. Great chance to have wine tasting (on your own cost) Afternoon- After lunch, have a leisurely way down into the Inle basin by road and by “long-tail” boat out across the lake to our Hotel near to the Inle Lake. During the journey, sketch to capture unique method

2/5 locals use to row their boats, fishermen with their own style of fishing, floating farms and gardens. Evening-Check in Royal Inle Hotel and have dinner.

Day 8 Inle Lake Morning-Breakfast in the hotel, painting and sketching exploration at floating market which is most fascinating to sketch the daily life of the minorities and their activities. Continue our painting and sketching exploration by motorized boat to Indein pagoda complex. During the boat journey, opportunity to capture impressive ruins of hundreds of ancient pagodas, some hidden in the vegetation. Noon-Lunch on the spot. Afternoon-Painting and sketching on top of the hill offers breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains and down to the valley and the lake in the far distance. Evening- Return to hotel and have dinner.

Day 9 Inle-Heho-Yangon (by flight) Morning – After breakfast, take morning flight to Yangoon. Free time or visiting Scott Market . Noon Lunch. Afternoon-Depart to your return flight. Home sweet home.

Payment Conditions

 $1000 deposit required to secure the seats.  Full payment by 22 Jan 2016.

Arrangement of accommodation and airport transport

 Single supplement can be arranged at extra cost, subject to availability. Request latest by 22 Feb 2016.  Extra accommodation and airport transport for early arrival or late departure can be arranged at your own cost, subject to availability. Request latest by 22 Feb 2016.

Alteration to Tour Itineraries and Hotel

 My Art Space reserves the right to modify painting and sketching programs and itineraries on the spot according to weather conditions.  Our travel agent "7 days tour" reserves the right to replace hotel with other option with similar value due to unavailability.

Alteration to Art Adventure Price

 In the unlikely event My Art Space reserves the right to modify pricing due to last minute changes of currency.  The price is subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances and changes in the cost of travel and accommodation services. Should any increase in the workshop tour price be unacceptable to the registered member, a full refund of monies paid fee will be made. (exclude surcharge and amendment fee)

Minimum Workshop Tour Numbers

3/5  Workshop tour has been priced on the basis of a minimum number of 8 members travelling. In the event that fewer than the minimum numbers have confirmed their booking by 23 Jan 16, My Art Space reserves the right to cancel the workshop tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or to offer arrangement to proceed with the workshop tour at a modified price.  Rates quoted are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) nett on a per person basis, unless otherwise stated

Tour Cancellation Policy

 10% charges for the tour cancelled before 70 days of arrival date.  50% cancellation charges for the tour cancelled before 60 days of arrival date.  No refund for less than 50 days of arrival date.  No refunds are available for unused services or tours during the trip.  Cancellations must be made in writing and sent by mail, fax or e-mail to My Art Space.

Art Instructor Substitution

 In the unlikely event that our art instructor cannot perform his or her duties due to unforeseen contingencies, My Art Space reserves the right to substitute another artist as the art instructor.

Physical Fitness

 Paint-outs can involve soft trekking and short distance stair-climbing. It is important that all participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in these activities without the need of assistance from others.

Confirmation of tour & Air Ticket Purchase

 All Participants are expected to purchase air ticket on his/her own.  My Art Space will advise the flight our instructor will take on 27 Jan 2016. Assistance to purchase ticket available upon request and make full payment before 1 Feb 2016.  All registrants must confirm the departure of the tour on 24 Jan 2016 before purchasing his/her air tickets. My Art Space will not bear any responsibilities for any loss due to the pre-purchasing of air tickets before confirmation of the tour departure.

Insurance

 Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover workshop members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the workshop tour and cancellation.

Passport & Visa

 Passport must be valid at least 6 months from date of departure. VISA is passenger own responsibility

Amendment of Terms & Conditions

 My Art Space reserve the right to amend terms and conditions with or without prior notice
