C. and Bragg Communities, LLC - Resolution authorizing the negotiation of an Installment Purchase Contract - Request from Ronnie Hall to address the Board on 4-wheel drive problem on county sewer line right-of-way in the Northwest area of county

7. Request to address the Board – Rex Johnson Eddie Byrd, Broadway, speaking for Mr. Johnson, asked the Board to consider calling for a county-wide vote on alcohol sales.

Ronnie Hall, Northwest area of the county, addressed the Board on 4-wheel drive vehicles driving destructively on county sewer line rights-of-way and on private property.

8. Request to submit application for Homeland Security Grants – Gary Pope, Director, Emergency Services Board authorized submission of the grant application as presented.

9. Agency agreement and lease with Board of Education – Neil Emory, County Manager Board approved agreements and authorized transfer of property. In order for School capital projects to be eligible for the reimbursement of sales tax, the property and project must be in the county’s name.

10. County Manager’s report – Neil Emory, County Manager 11. Closed session: to consult with an attorney employed by the County regarding a legal matter; and to consult with the County Attorney concerning the handling of a claim, namely the case of “Larry G. Johnson and wife, Nancy T. Johnson vs. Harnett County Planning Board and Harnett County”.
