Looking Thoughtfully at Art

Imagine that you are an art teacher for the grade level of your choice. You must select a piece of art to present to students. You will present the piece of art to students by asking questions about it to elicit thoughtful responses.

To complete this assignment, which is based on the above scenario, complete the following tables in Part I, Part II, and Part III. In Part I, fill out information about the piece of art you selected. In Part II, choose questions to ask the students about the piece of art. In Part III, describe ways to integrate the piece of art into the classroom.

Pretend that you have the ability to shrink in size so that you are small enough to fit into your favorite piece of art. Describe what it would look like from that perspective.
