Points System Points are only awarded for places; if a rosette is actually awarded. This is to help with fairness. E.g.: If only 15 placing are awarded by rosettes in a Standard Open Class, 1st will still receive 35 points but the lowest points to be claim will be for 15th place. The same ruling will work in Limited/Capped events.

For all Sizes of Gundogs  35 points for 1st place down to 6 point for 30th place in any class that does not limit entries (other than by its standard) at an open KC or unaffiliated show, (if rosette awarded). Special classes like helter skelter, gamblers, etc will count. ABC classes will qualify for the open point scheme as they are open to all gundogs.  For limited KC, Capped and unaffiliated shows there will be a reduced point scheme, 25 points for 1st place down to 6 points for 20th (if rosette (placement rosette) awarded).  5 points will be awarded for a place awarded by a rosette, therefore if rosettes awarded to 35th for example you can still get points.  5 points are also available for Special Awards, e.g. Best Starter, Best Gundog, Best ABC. Judges Specials are not included.  Clear Round will gain 2 points, (these will count even if a rosette is not awarded, we just ask for honesty here).  No points will be awarded for pairs, pay on the day or team events.  Awards In both categories  1st place £15 Voucher to spend at Waggitt & rosette.  2nd place £10 Voucher to spend at Waggitt & rosette.  3rd place £5 Voucher to spend at Waggitt & rosette.  Also rosettes to 10% in each height category.

For all first places there will be a shield present (kindly donated by people below), this is to be returned 1 month prior to the next award ceremony to allow engraving for the winner of the completed season.

Standard Trophy has been kindly donated by Mark & Alison Lambden in memory of their Weimaraner BARNEY. Midi Trophy has kindly been donated by Margaret & Bryan in memory of their Springer LADY. Mini Trophy has been kindly donated by Aljeana and Geoff Baddley.

In the event of a draw the highest overall placing in the year will win. In the event that the league is still drawn the greatest number of highest overall placing will win.
