Calendar of Upcoming Holy Family School Events: January 10th Confirmation 7pm MMOG

January 30th Movie Night (day before PD Day) February 11th Uniform Information Night

February 14th Valentine’s Dance (Gr. 7 & 8) February 17th- Family Day

March 4th –Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Breakfast March 7th- PD Day

News Items

Mrs. McGillivray suggests a photography club- Mr. Guerin will speak to Mr. Rapai to explore idea

Kiss N’ Ride- Mr. Guerin proposes true kiss n’ ride where grade 8 students wearing vests walk young children to yard- kids will be allowed to walk though jk/sk yard

Fire Hydrant- will be removed and relocated to a more reasonable spot Back-end parking- Parents will be asked to back into parking spaces to create a safer environment Memorial Bench Initiative project- hopefully high school students will build a bench around memorial garden (Mr. Guerin Sr. as back up carpenter) Uniforms-

The school board has tendered to McCarthy’s for uniforms Mrs. Soler inquired about non-compliance of wearing uniforms- Mr. Guerin will deal any issues that arise Tues. Feb 11th – uniform presentation night

Mr. Guerin will ask the Cubs organization to relocate for the night to avail the gym

Charitable Donations: $1000 to Mary Mother of God Church to aid in the purchase of a car for a priest in Newfoundland $250 toward a family in medical peril- will increase this amount if needed, depending upon the community support generated Students from School Council will present at next meeting
