Nutrilite, A Division of Access Business Group Individual Container Labeling Specification for Raw Materials

Scope: Nutrilite requires each and every container be explicitly identified. This requirement is derived from our interpretation of “Good Manufacturing Practices.” Outlined below are the specific requirements.

What is labeled: All containers. Containers include but are not limited to boxes, cases, barrels, drums, bags, sacks, and totes.

Where label is applied: The label is applied to the exterior surface of the container.

About the label: The label information required can be either conveyed using a separate label or grouped and printed on the existing supplier’s container label.

Label information: The following data is required in text form: Item Number: Nutrilite assigned item number. Description: According to the Nutrilite specification. Lot Number: Based on the format provided below. Quantity: The exact container weight in the Nutrilite inventory UOM specified by Nutrilite’s Procurement department. UOM: The unit of measure the quantity is represented in. (KG = kilograms, GR = grams, M = thousand, EA = each, LB = pounds) PO Number: Purchase Order Number and associated line numbers (example: 123456OP, Line [#])

The following data is required in bar code form: Item Number (Nutrilite assigned item number) Lot Number (Based on the format provide below) Quantity Carry out no more than two decimal positions.

Lot Number: The Nutrilite lot number contains 8 positions and is created using the following format:

1st thru 4th positions: Julian Date - Date product is produced or shipped. 5th thru 7th positions: AMC Code - Unique 3 position code assigned to each individual SKU. AMC code provided by Nutrilite’s Procurement department. 8th position: Sequential batch code. Alpha or numeric position to designate a unique batch. Example: 0123ABCA

Printed Text: The description of the data is to proceed the actual data. The minimum text font size is 14.
