The Spring Property Owners Meeting will be April 18th at 10am in the Gathering Room of the Community Center. As always only property owners in good standing will be permitted to attend.

Please join me in congratulating our Security Chief Jarrett Butler on passing the National Registry EMT State Practical’s Exam. Chief Butler has been attending classes to complete the required training to become an EMT. Good luck on the next step of your endeavor.

Lehman Township will be hosting a one day household electronics recycling event Saturday, April 25 form 10am – 3pm at the township building. Items accepted include: monitors, printers, keyboards, terminals, cables, fax machines, radios, modems, crt’s, telephones, tv’s, copiers, typewriters, & stereo equipment. WATER MAIN FLUSHING PROGRAM

The Pennsylvania Utility Company which services The Glen at Tamiment will commence a water main-flushing program on April 15, 2015 & April 16, 2015. Work will begin at approximately 9:30am, and end by 3:00 pm. Phase 2, sections 1 & 2 & 3, Phase 4 and Phase 1 are planned to be done on Wednesday, April 15th. Phase 3 is planned to be done on Thursday, April 16th.

You may experience lower water pressure and/or temporary discolored water during the flushing program. We recommend you check at the tap nearest where the water enters your home. If discolored water is noticed, flush the outlet until the water is clear. It is also recommended that you boil your water for 10 minutes prior to consumption.

We recommend that you not wash laundry during the flushing program.

Flushing of water mains is an essential procedure to clear out any accumulated sediment. We schedule this annual program when water demand is at its lowest to reduce any impacts on our customers.
