On joint motion of all Councilmembers present, the following resolution was offered at the request of Ms. Lee-Sheng: RESOLUTION NO. 115221 A resolution granting permission to St. Christopher Church, represented by Mr. Kevin Voiselle, to have a Block Party on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Derbigny Street from 309 Manson Avenue to 3903 Derbigny Street between Manson Avenue and Cleary Avenue in Metairie. In connection with said event all taxes and fees are hereby waived, provided that all permits have been obtained from the Office of Citizen’s Affairs and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office to conduct such a block party and that all requirements and regulations of said departments have been met, and to provide for related matters. (Council District No. 5) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson Parish Council, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, acting as governing authority for said Parish: SECTION I. That St. Christopher Church, represented by Mr. Kevin Voiselle, to have a Block Party on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Derbigny Street from 309 Manson Avenue to 3903 Derbigny Street between Manson Avenue and Cleary Avenue in Metairie. SECTION II. That a certified copy of this resolution be mailed to Mr. Kevin Voiselle, 1010 Alura Avenue, Metairie, Louisiana 70001. The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows: YEAS: 7 NAYS: None ABSENT: None This resolution was declared to be adopted on this the 1st day of September, 2010.
