Job Title: Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental Systems Manager
Reporting To: Managing Director
Job Purpose: Ensure that products and services delivered by O’Neills meet and exceed customer requirements and that systems and procedures are in place and consistently applied across the organisation to achieve this. The QHSE Systems Manager will maintain and develop ISO 9001 & ISO14001 systems and will also work with external agencies to maintain Health & Safety, Fire Safety and other areas of compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that processes needed for the Quality and Environmental Management System (QMS) are implemented and maintained i.e. ISO9001 & ISO14001 Develop monitoring and reporting arrangements to report on quality, environmental performance, health & safety and fire safety Ensure full capture of all customer complaints, internal non-compliance and quality failures and that there is effective follow up both corrective and preventive Analyse quality data to evaluate where improvement efforts require focus Develop the use of quality and business improvement tools and techniques within the business (including 5S and Lean approaches etc.) Develop and implement audit and compliance systems in other areas i.e. Health & Safety and Fire Safety etc. Liaise with certification bodies on the maintenance of external certifications Introduce software applications to replace paper systems as far as possible Control the day-to-day operations including auditing, meetings, training and updating documents and records for all aspects of the systems Liaise with management and staff to ensure continued QHSE integration into core operations Monitor and ensure that all Quality, Health & Safety, Fire Safety and Environmental legislation is complied with and ensure a safe working environment for all team members within a busy manufacturing environment. Manage company Safety file. Conduct Continuous Improvement processes to improve processes and procedures The role requires active participation at all levels, from strategy through to implementation as well as actively influencing and motivating a variety of people to ensure commitment to the overall QHSE systems www.oneills.com

Knowledge Familiar with international quality and environmental Third level qualification management standards (ISO9001 and 14001) (preferably in a technical Conversant with modern manufacturing methods discipline) Familiar with regulatory requirements for Health & Safety and Fire Safety
Relevant Previous experience coordinating and quality Previous experience in a Experience management/environmental system manufacturing Practical experience carrying out and following up environment audits Previous experience dealing with external assessment bodies (2nd and 3rd party)
