Hello [P-Seller individual name],

Welcome to the Microsoft P-Seller Program!

This program was established to enable you as a Microsoft P-Seller to work as a part of the Microsoft sales team within your local geography. Our objective is to realize stronger customer relationships and product sales through our Partners, while also introducing Partner sales and technical individuals like you into sales opportunities sooner.

Partner Seller (P-Seller, previously v-TSP) is a Microsoft Partner resource in the capacity of sales and pre-sales technical engagement. The appropriate P-Seller has the ability to position, demonstrate, design and implement Microsoft solutions. P-Sellers engage with Microsoft Account Managers, Opportunity Managers, Solution Sales Professionals (SSPs) and Tele- Sales Solutions Specialists on Sales Opportunities providing deliverables such as:

 Sales & positioning presentations  Technology & Strategy briefings  Product demos  Technical follow up  Deployment, Usage and Consumption work

P-Sellers are provided access to many of the same resources and presentations as the Microsoft teams and therefore can be more responsive in customer engagements and less dependent on Microsoft employee assistance than partner's who are not engaged in the P-Seller program.

Being part of the P-Seller Program will provide you with the following*: *subject to local laws and P-Seller Program implementation

 Early involvement in suitable opportunities  Development support to ensure quality execution  Credentials: Subject to local implementation of the program, you will be provided with: o Microsoft b- “business guest” email alias o Microsoft purple SmartCard badge to access select Microsoft buildings  Microsoft Access o Deeper integration into the Microsoft specialist sales community o Membership in appropriate MSFT intranet, technical DLs & discussions o Tighter access to Product Team resources (SDE/PM/QFE) o Access to Microsoft resources o RAS enabled email account giving you the ability to remotely VPN into the MS CorpNet  Microsoft Training o Access to Microsoft internal training and content o Guidance on technical/sales learning plans o Solution sales training o Access to advanced technical training material o Pilot/PoC/ADS training material P-Seller Program Welcome Letter Updated as of 1-28-2015 Your Microsoft Sponsor and team will typically be calling on you to participate in:  Territory Planning and Pipeline Review with the Microsoft sales team as part of the Co-Selling motion  Demos and overviews of technologies at customers  Marketing events for your own company or for Microsoft  Solution Sales Briefings

Getting Started as a P-Seller The P-Seller Onboarding Team will assist you with securing your Microsoft credentials as mentioned above. To kick off your onboarding, please complete the following steps:  Step 1: Ensure a signed Program Agreement and Authorization are on file for your partner organization  Step 2: Submit your completed P-Seller Bio Template and insert a passport-styled photo* (for badge) * By submitting your photo, you agree to let Microsoft use it internally for the purpose of sharing your information with our sales teams.

Once the above is submitted, you will be on your way to becoming a P-Seller resource at Microsoft for your company!
