Boscombe Market is operated by Bournemouth Borough Council and as such is required by the Audit Commission to collect information on your legal right to work in the UK for the purposes of information sharing in accordance with the National Fraud Initiative.
Bournemouth Borough Council is required by law to protect the public funds it administers. It may share information provided to it with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering public funds, in order to prevent and detect fraud.
Vehicle Permit Application for Boscombe Precinct

Terms & Conditions
Market Traders A Permit will be issued to a new Market Trader on the first day of attendance on the Market by the Market Manager.
Only one permit will be issued to each Trader free of charge.
Additional Permits will cost £10 and be renewable on 1st April every year.
Replacement Permits will incur a £10 fee. The Permit must be displayed in the front windscreen of the vehicle whilst it is in the pedestrian precinct.
All instructions from the Market Manager must be obeyed.
All time restrictions for vehicle access must be obeyed.
The Permit allows the vehicle access to the pedestrian precinct for the set-up and take down of the market stall only, unless prior consent has been given by the Market Manager for the vehicle to remain in the pedestrian precinct for the duration of the Market (e.g. if the vehicle is required for the retention of stock on the stall during the Market (a vehicle adapted to keep chilled goods or to be used for preparing hot food)
Failure to comply with the Permit conditions could result in the suspension of your trading licence for the Market.
The Permit is valid in respect of the Trader to whom it is issued.
No alteration of Permits is allowed.
Failure to display a valid Permit may result in the issue of a Penalty Charge Notice. We are unable to cancel Penalty Charge Notices issued to a Trader for failure to display a valid Permit
Copying of the Permit is not allowed. Any copy of a permit seen being displayed in a vehicle will be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and the original permit will be invalidated.
If you cease to trade on Boscombe Market, the Permit will cease to be valid and should be returned to the Market Manager.
Boscombe Market Pitch Fees 2015 / 2016
The criteria for pitch fees are as follows:
The cost of a larger pitch or site for service, i.e. catering van, will be agreed and stated on the fee schedule Electricity and refuse collection will be an additional charge

DECLARATION I declare that to the best of my knowledge and belief, the answers given within this application are true. If consent is given, I will pay the above agreed fee and comply with Boscombe Markets Rules & Regulations as well as the Terms & Conditions as set out in the Stallholder Agreement. I also agree to comply with the Terms & Conditions of the Boscombe Precinct Vehicle Permit.
