Mortuary Managers Study Day 2017

If you planning to stay over during your visit we would suggest staying at one of the following hotels: www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/570/Hartlepool-Marina-hotel http://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/hotels/england/county-durham/hartlepool/hartlepool- marina.html

The hotels are extremely reasonably priced, they are right next to the railway station and are in a lovely location right on the Marina - next to the study day venue – there are many restaurants in the vicinity... you may even want to visit the famous Hartlepool "monkey" while you are there!

Please note – the Travelodge does not supply hairdryers. http://www.thisishartlepool.co.uk/history/thehartlepoolmonkey.asp

The hotels are approximately 0.4 miles from Hartlepool train station: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations_destinations/HPL.aspx

A map from train station to hotel can be found here: https://maps.google.co.uk/maps? saddr=Hartlepool+TS24+7ED&daddr=Hartlepool+TS24+0XS&hl=en&geocode=FQt0Qg Mdf5Ht_ym19kMnifN-SDFBsxUwzRH_CA%3BFSt2QgMd15Pt_ylBfE8YifN- SDFUHMA_SsYCAw&oq=ts24+0xs&dirflg=w&doflg=ptm&mra=ls&t=m&z=17

Hartlepool train station is on routes from Newcastle if you are planning on flying into Newcastle -Flights from around the country do land here - Bristol, London etc. so it may be worth checking as it is pretty cheap and probably quicker! Hartlepool is around a 40 minute train journey from Newcastle.

If you are planning a train journey, you may have to change at York / Darlington / Doncaster... Hartlepool is on direct routes from London and takes approximately 3 hours.

The venue is directly opposite the hotels and can’t be missed! https://www.nmrn.org.uk/hartlepool/visit https://www.nmrn.org.uk/exhibitions-projects/nmrn-hartlepool
