Table Name PS Table Name Table Purpose Class Field CLASS_CF_TBL The CLASS_CF_TBL is used to define and maintain the applicable further class amounts such as salaries or materials.

The Service Location will be 5 characters. The purpose of the ChartField is to capture the concept of location (state, county, city, district, building, etc). Service Location is not required on all transactions.  The ChartField label will be changed from Class Field to Service Location in ChartField configurator.  Service Location will be centrally controlled and maintained.  Agencies can request detailed values be added to the control table.  A design task will be sent out to gather agency specific values that should be included on the table at ‘Go Live’, i.e. – KDOT districts.  The module team will configure basic values, i.e. - each Kansas county.

Assumptions:

 The Service Location ChartField will be centrally maintained.  The chart of accounts is a statewide structure shared by all agencies.  All chartfield values must be established in system control tables – no value is free-form text.  Each chartfield element has a centrally defined purpose, except for ChartField 1 which is for agency use.
