- Order of Business –

1. Call to order – Vice Chairman Beatrice B. Hill

2. Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation – Commissioner Tim McNeill

3. Consider additions and deletions to the published agenda None.

4. Consent Agenda: All items on the consent agenda were approved. A. Minutes B. Budget amendments C. Tax refunds and releases D. Resolution to add roads to state system E. Reclassification of position in Planning Department F. Request from Cooperative Extension to accept Corn Growers grant G. Write-off of delinquent Public Utilities accounts All consent agenda items have been reviewed by the county manager and are recommended for approval by the Board.

5. Period of up to 30 minutes for informal comments allowing 3 minutes for each presentation Eddie Byrd, Wayne Dean, Billy Wellons and Ronald Adams asked the Board to consider calling for a vote on whether to allow alcohol sales in Johnsonville, Upper Little River and Anderson Creek Townships.

9. Public hearing and consideration of proposed Housing Agency Annual Plan – Joseph Jeffries, Planning Director Public hearing was held. Board adopted Housing Agency Plan as presented.

10. Documents regarding issuance of Public Utilities Revenue Bonds – Neil Emory, County Manager Board adopted resolution and agreement as presented.

11. County Manager’s report – Neil Emory, County Manager Announced NC DOT Annual Spring Roadside Cleanup, April 14-28.
