1. Tell us about yourself and why you are interested in this position.

2. What do you consider to be the major accomplishments in your current and previous jobs as they relate to this position?

3. Meetings and working with diverse groups of people are essential parts of this job. How do you facilitate meetings and build consensus?

4. As Director of Curriculum and Instruction, what process would you use to develop, improve and evaluate curriculum in all content areas?

Follow-up: What steps would you take to improve identified areas of concern in the curriculum?

5. How do you build relationships with staff, community, the administrative team and the School Board?

Follow-up: How do you involve the District Curriculum Committee? 6. What is the role of data driven decision making in the process of evaluating student achievement?

Follow-up: Tell us about your experience in interpreting and communicating testing and student progress data.

7. Describe your leadership experience relative to staff development and give specific examples as to how you determined the content that was provided.

8. Describe the content and process of a quality teacher evaluation system and how it fits into quality staff development programs.

9. How would you ensure that the adopted curriculum is being used effectively in the schools and in the classrooms.
